CIS 1000: AI for All is an introductory course designed to help students from all majors understand and thoughtfully engage with artificial intelligence in everyday life. Rather than focusing on coding or technical details, the course emphasizes how AI systems work at a conceptual level, how they influence human behavior and decision-making, and how people can use AI tools responsibly and effectively. Through hands-on activities, real-world examples, and reflective discussion, students develop the mindset, knowledge, and skills needed to navigate an AI-enabled world across academic, professional, and social contexts.
